TRAFFIC

"Ok, ok." Joe began excitedly, grabbing Bailey's hand and leading her into a big, noisy warehouse in Los Angeles. "Wanna meet the crew?"

Bailey laughed. "Sure, I'd love to meet the people who have stolen my man for the past two days." he smiled down at her, knowing she was just joking. After passing by various J.O.N.A.S. logos and random props that consisted of various spy gadgets, she could only imagine what the script looked like.

"Here we go, you ready?" Joe asked, trying to intimidate and prep her for who she was about to meet. He held back a laugh as he watched her face drop in nervousness; she hated meeting new people. "Alright." he bit his lip, hiding his smile as he turned the corner of the row of sets and stepped up onto a platform that appeared to be a boy's bedroom. The three walls were painted a royal blue, while random sporting items were scattered on the burgundy border that surrounded the room. Various pictures of athletes were hanging up overtop of a fake dresser and behind a twin sized bed that was neatly made up with a body lounging overtop of the blue and red striped comforter. "Bails, I'd like you introduce you to Nick Jonas. He plays the part of, -" Joe turned to look her in the eyes. "- Nick Jonas." his smile was a big as ever as his listened to her laugh. "And that over there, -" he began, pointing over to another person who was chilling back on a futon. "That's Kevin Jonas. He plays the part of -" Joe turned and met her eyes once again, finishing up with emphasis. "-Kevin Jonas. Isn't is amazing?!"

"Wow, I'm so glad I finally get to meet you guys!" Bailey exclaimed, looking from Nick to Kevin who were now joining in with her laughter. Joe had that effect on everyone.

"Oh, oh. And this kid." Joe began, leaving her side and walking over to a younger kid who was seated at the foot of the bed that Nick was sprawled out on. "This is Timmy." he introduced as the kid looked up at her through his dorky glasses. "Timmy is my best friend. But, in the script of course."

"Hey!" the tiny frame of the twelve-year-old exclaimed, narrowing his eyes over at Joe. "It's not my fault my character is the smart kid that has to help you because you're so SLOW!"

"Hey Shrimp, it's the character that's slow." Joe pointed out, a fake layer of attitude on his voice. Him and Timmy always went back and forth in a bonding, somewhat loving, way. It often became amusing.

"Then it doesn't look like you have to act all that much then, huh?" Bailey smirked, proudly putting in her two cents as Timmy shot her an impressive grin. Kevin instantly stood up from the futon and approached her.

"That's definitely hug worthy." Kevin stated, wrapping his arms around her as she chuckled. "Two days without your comebacks have been horrible." he continued, pulling away, honestly missing her company. Everyone had, including their parents, Mr. And Mrs.Jonas. Hell, Frankie was asking where she had been. Her presence was something the crew fed on.

With the boys kicking off the production of J.O.N.A.S., it didn't mean Bailey was off of work. Even if there wasn't a tour and concerts to assist, Ross still found work for her to do. During the first two days of filming, she had been on the opposite side of the city doing paperwork and making hundreds of phone calls to various magazines and companies concerning the Jonas Brothers. Ross knew how to keep one occupied.

"Alright, Nicholas. I see how it is." Bailey huffed, crossing her arms as he looked over at the curly head that was planted on the pillow, implying that he was too good to say 'hey'.

"You come into our sanctuary and then expect to have us bow down to you?" Nick playfully snapped, sitting up on the bed as Bailey charged towards him, her lips pressed together as a tiny grin spread across her face, her hand coming into contact with his thigh that made a loud smack. "Hey hey, violence is not the answer!"

"Oh, but it is." she grinned, falling on top of him, pinning his shoulders to the bed before moving he hands down and jabbing her hands into his sides, causing him to kick and squirm.

"Ahh, stop! Joe! Get her off!" he somehow managed to get out in between laughs. Within moments, a pair of arms gripped Bailey's waist from behind, pulling her up off of Nick. Instantly, she could tell by the gentle touch, warmth and even smell that it was Joe.

"Don't worry, I'll get you later!" she exclaimed, still in the air and in Joe's grasp until he hopped down off the platform of the fake bedroom scene. He lowered her until she could touch the ground, then he grabbed her hand and began to head out of the warehouse, their mood as high as the sky.

"Joe." Bailey said, trying to get his attention from his spot across the tiny, circle table at the little pizza place a block up from the warehouse. She motioned towards her lip, hinting that he should wipe his mouth. The tiny dab of red sauce on his face clashed with his complexion; she couldn't have it. Chuckling, Joe quickly brought his napkin up and wiped his mouth.

"You know, Nick probably wouldn't have said anything and I would've been walking around with a saucy mouth the entire day." he laughed, taking a sip of his soda.

"Well, that's what I'm here for." Bailey smiled, her fingers twirling the straw of her iced tea as she leaned back in her chair, already finishing her second slice of cheesy pizza.

"I don't think I'm going to like doing the rest of this show." Joe randomly stated, his stare shifting from Bailey's eyes to another slice of pizza on the pan that was on a tray next to their table.

"What! Why?" she exclaimed, her eyebrows coming together as she stared at him questionably. The boys had been hoping, wishing that Disney picked up their pilot, and now he was saying that he wasn't going to like it? This was something Bailey couldn't comprehend.

"Well, I don't get to see you a lot." he simply replied, locking onto her stare. "You don't know how much it sucks. I miss your insults." he smirked at her comforting chuckle.

"Oh really? Doesn't Kevin, and that kid Timmy, insult you enough?" Bailey asked, her ears and eyes completely focused on his voice and warm, chocolate eyes.

"I guess, yeah." Joe forced out a chuckle. "But it'd look kind of weird if I just leaned over and kissed one of them." Bailey burst out laughing, Joe joining in a millisecond later.

"I'd have to agree, that'd be kind of odd. -Both would be illegal, I believe."

"What? Guys can kiss guys legally. Girls today like that now, apparently." he scrunched his nose. "I mean, I wouldn't! But just saying."

"No, no." she chuckled. "One, incest. Hello? And not to mention Timmy is underage."

"Subject change, please?" he laughed, biting into his slice of pizza.

"Hey, you started it."

"Oh yeah, I was going somewhere with that." Joe continued, his mouth full of pizza. A few more chews and a huge gulp, he started. "These two days have showed me that I need you."

"Aw, I'm so touched, Joseph." Bailey pointed to her eye as if she was crying, then placed her other on her heart jokingly.

"No, I'm flippin' serious." he stated, his tone was bold as he stared at her. "I'm gonna ask the producer if you could like, be an extra. That way you could be on set with us!" Joe exclaimed, his face beaming over at her dropped jaw. It was a moment before a cackle escaped her lungs.

"You really know how to make me laugh."

"I'm serious!" Joe replied, almost whining. "No, I'm calling him now and you're doing it."

"Joseph Adam, I am not doing it." she informed, sitting up straight in her chair as she stared across the table at him. "Are you crazy? I can't act."

"Dude, I said extra. You know, the people that are in the background?" he responded, his fingers trailing along the screen of his iPhone.

"Thanks, Boo." Bailey rolled her eyes, an uncontrollable smile still playing upon her lips.

"Ah, here's his number." Joe grinned, then put the phone up to his ear as he stared at Bailey who looked un-amused.

"Tell Kev I said hey, because I know you're not really calling your producer." she informed, taking a gulp of her tea.

"Hey, Mr.Parker. It's Joe Jonas." he grinned into the phone. "Yes, yes. I'm out at lunch. I should be back in an hour. . .Oh really?. . .Alright. -Hey, I was wondering. My girlfriend, she- Yes, Bailey Baker." he eyed her in amazement, a little surprised that 'his producer' knew her name. "Yeah, well, I was wondering if you have any extra room for an extra?"

"Joseph." Bailey barely got out between gritted teeth. "Hang up. Now."

"Ok, sweet!" Joe smiled, ignoring her command.

"You can stop joking around!" she pleaded.

"Thanks so much. See you in a few. Bye!" he finished, hanging up and looking at her before picking up his pizza and taking a big bite as her silence filled his ears. Did something just happen?
